The very first day

I'm literally living in my dream but it was not as excited as i though it gonna be. Everything is good but because i've planned so long for this where I've expected some of the situation so i guess i pretty much handle things in a relatively calm way.

One thing i must said is thank you so much guys for sending me off. Cause if not i'll be dying listening to "advices". You guys know what i meant. Well my family members does came and send me off too but due to technical problem, i don't get their pictures. But its fine, cause we still talk to each other everyday. Both my mum and me as well as sis just felt like i never leave before.
My family is kind a worry about me getting loss or couldn't find the right boarding room. So i took some pictures along the way just to calm them up. And for those who wonder how KLIA looks like inside, this is pretty much it. I'm not gonna post all the pictures else it'll be really boring.
FYI, I'm taking Emirates flight as it has only one transit from Dubai to Newcastle which is much convenient than landing in Heathrow. They provide a menu for you to choose your meal. I couldn't remember which is what i had in where but below are some of the meals i had.
I'm quite satisfied with the taste and the portion is really big. Most of them i only manage to finish the main dish and i keep some of the snacks in my bag, just in case i'll need them while arrived. And it does! The drinks i guess is free flow, but i only order what i want when they asked. Hmm.. i tried those fruit juices but I prefer to go with tea.
So i depart from KL to Dubai. It takes about 6 hours? Can't remember but here's a tip if you're gonna be in Dubai airport. The wifi in the airport is free but once your phone has connected to it, you have to go to your internet browser/google and sign up for a 30 minutes free wifi. Its essential to keep in touch with all of your family and friends that are really worried about you. So at least drop a message or just checked in in Facebook, keep them warm.
During the first flight, i was placed in between a nigger and a Chinese guy. Both of them are quite buff and its so cram  sitting in between them. Luckily the stewardess was nice enough to help me change my place to the middle section, four seat in a row. So beside me is no one and another guy sitting next to it. I felt so much comfortable than the original place. Their service is good or i guess i'm really lucky, cause I can't imagine myself sitting in that place for 6 hours. So thank you so much!
This is how Emirates' Economy seats looks like. Very comfortable which i think the neck pillow is not necessary. You'll get a blanket, stereo headset and a pillow. They'll also give you a hot towel for refreshing. I'm satisfied and happy with the overall services.
So after a thousand miles,  i finally arrived. I've registered for the airport pickup services so there are bus from the university to pick us up and drop us accordingly to our accommodation. Here's something kind a disappointed cause we literally wait for hours until my turn. But it's fine, talk to new people and all. Still safely arrived anyway. So yea.
This is what it looks like when i first came in to my room. I reached here around 5pm so the office is about to close, the staff here just show me around my room, explain a little and she left. To be honest i felt quite helpless cause we've just arrived and we don't know where to buy things or eat and there is no one here to guide us. Furthermore, we don't have a SIM yet, so... it was kind a lost. But luckily wifi is available so i'm able to contact with my mum and also a few people i met in plane who happened to stay in the same flat with me.

I guess i'm consider lucky again for not being really alone. A few of us walked to the city centre to buy some household stuff and had our very first dinner in UK.

Both the little cup there are ketchup or tomato sauce but they called it salsa sauce here. Not much different but there is no chilli sauce for sure. I ordered a chicken sandwich which we don't get it in Malaysia and a chocolate drink which for me it taste similarly to Milo.
The very first night. Spot the moon! It was huge!
Stuff that i got from Primark! I knew Primark before i came, cause i subscribed to a number of UK Youtuber and they always have Primark haul videos. It was absolutely massive and everything is really affordable. Honestly, don't bring duvet, bedding sheets and pillow if you're abroad to UK because it was so cheap here with nice quality and designs. I would suggest use the baggage allowance to bring more stationery like file and all or foods.

That pretty much end my first day. Following are some random pictures.
Thats during the induction week aka orientation. The hall is huge and there are so many people from all around the world. Some of my lecture class is in this kind of hall as well. Will go deep in to the teaching here in the following post.
My flatmate won a hamper for a quiz! She totally deserved it cause she googled the answer a day before. At least she put some effort right! Hahahaa..
This is how the exterior looks like for my accommodation.
Just right opposite the street there's a small market where you can get some stuff from there. Slightly pricy i guess but its really convenient if you're in a urgent.
The Grey's monument.
Some random pics in the city centre. Will show more in the following post.
Once again i apologise for updating you guys so late particularly my family and friends. I hope y'all understand that there is so much things going on for the first few days and stuff. I promise i'll continually to blog as much as i can to update and keep in touch with each and everyone of you. Again i felt blessed and lucky to have so much people texting me and asking how am i doing. This makes me never felt alone or home sick even most of the time and thing i have to face it all by myself over here. Also i apologise for not replying the messages or late replying cause.. i'll explain further in the next following post. Haha..

Also, because there are so many pictures and i've still kind a busy most of the time, i did not edit any of the pictures which i normally would. So bare with me about the pictures qualities and all. Alright.

Take care everyone! Good luck! =D

Proper Goodbye.

Been MIA for few months as i were busy for work and followed by settling abroad stuff and of course due to laziness. But these few days I've so much to share with all of my friends, family and all the people i met.

Life is getting so exciting yet emotional lately. Exciting part would definitely be the abroad part as its gonna be a completely new environment. While emotional are from the people.

As i am leaving real soon, i've meet up with most of my friends and family for a proper goodbye. For the family side, I felt really lucky and blessed that my mum in particular is able to see the same picture with me and gave me full support in every aspect. As some of the people might not be able to see the point of study abroad, but i am glad that most of my relatives are being so supportive, some even called me from other state just to wish me luck, giving me some advice and suggestion. Personally, receiving blessing from the people you love is crucial and definitely a plus for the entire process.

As for friends, i appreciate most of them took the initiative to organise a gathering/dinner/brunch session thou some of them are busy for assignments/exam. Most of them we don't catch up often but still felt very lucky to have all of them in my life. However, each and every session does makes me miss them even more.

I've also met a number of people for the very first time, and still received all the blessing from them. All of you just made my day and make me felt really lucky and inspiring.

Throughout all these meet up, i received both positive and negative comments/advice. But i wish to emphasise that I clearly know what i want and which path i am moving towards. Most of the time i'm being indecisive or not confident in decision making (exclude work/study related matters), but i never felt so persist in such huge decision. But still, I'm appreciate for every single advice cause its shows you do care.

Correct or wrong is so subjective but the answer will be reveal after i get there.

Just want to thanks everyone so much, I'll continue to post more to keep people who care know what I've been up to even we're apart from a thousand miles.

Good Luck & Good Bye Malaysia!

This of course does make me cry. One of the most meaningful gift ever from them.
Purposely rush back to Uni just to see the most inspired lecture. He definitely taught me so much that i am running out of words to describe.
It was Mid-Autumn festival a day before i leave. So my aunt prepare steamboat which signified unite for Chinese.
The very last meeting just a few hours before i flied. LKS told me you cry right after you leave. Hope you already saw the email i replied to you. Stay awesome my very beloved babe!
The journey begins...
