Bersih 3.0

Its definitely a big day for all the Malaysian. I literally don't like politic and don't even read news frequently until the Bersih community shown up. This is so stirring because the new generation like us can finally have a glimmer of hope to our own country and our future. We are not greedy but as a citizen we just want a peaceful event for people to exercise their democratic rights today.

                  

The most important message that Bersih would like to bring out is

"Only when elections are clean and fair, citizens are allow to be real masters of their own destiny and expect holders of public office to act accountable and effectively."

Besides that, it also bring out 8 important point :

1. Clean the electoral roll

2. Reform postal ballot

3. Use of indelible ink

4. Minimum 21 days campaign period

5. Free and fair access to media

6. Strengthen public institutions

7. Stop corruption 

8. Stop dirty politics

Kind a disappointed that i couldn't join Bersih today but i guess if i do my mum is gonna worry like hell. But i am so surprise that my beloved tuition teacher has been a part of the event today. I feel so proud of him!! =D

The news of Bersih 3.0 has been spread to all around the world. Sydney for instant, hundreds of people gathered at Martin Place today stood in solidarity with the Bersih 3.0 rally calling for comprehensive reform of Malaysia's electoral system. 

It involves 35 countries and 85 location... Below are some examples..

However, the police is full of rudeness to attack their own citizen. People like us blogging so relaxing but these is what happened to people who actually join the rally call.

This blog post is definitely not as professional as how others does, the information might not be so complete. However, since i am not physically supporting this rally call, i would love to spend a little effort on spreading this news and shows the support to Bersih 3.0. Lastly, i wish everyone who have joined Bersih 3.0 today are all safe. Well done people!! You're the BEST!!

Jealousy

Jealousy is often occur especially between girls. No offence but for me i think is a fact that  guy would not care so much as girls does. I admit that i do always jealous about others but i'm trying very hard to avoid it and changed it to another way.

I'm pretty sure that jealousy normally generate in stuff like bags, cloths, shoes, accessories, bf/gf, appearance and many many more.. And I've always heard about my friends jealous about others life based on the pic in Facebook. Even i does *>.<''*

So... here is some of my suggestion~

Don't judge one's life based on the pic even pic said thousand of words because nowadays pic could be easily edited with software. And most importantly sometimes we don't even know what is the story behind the pic. It could be involved many sad stories? Who knows?

Further more, avoid naive thinking that the people in the pic looks exactly same in the real life. Photoshop or other editing software has been widely used among the society. One of my friends use to jealous the skin or others but in fact, the pic has totally been edited. It looks completely different in the real life.

PS: not to said Photoshop is not good, but i am trying to said AVOID JEALOUSY based on pic!

And if you are people that easily got jealousy from FB, why don't you try not to sign in or deactivate it for a week or a month perhaps? Try it!! Who knows you will feel happier without FB? =)

Besides that, whenever you're in a jealous, try to think that there are actually people are more suffer than what you are facing. Appreciation should be enhanced in this moment being. People always used to jealous why others is better and bigger but why mine is smaller or sucks. Yet, they never really appreciate what they have.

One of the interview of Michelle Yeoh, she has said that if you don't love yourself and don't know what is your goal, there is no one or thing that can satisfy you. Thus, be appreciate and grateful about everything you have.

Jealous in a right way! What does it means? well... jealousy normally causing yourself in a bad mood eventually. So why don't you jealous stuff like a good result in academic instead of she or he is using branded stuff?

**Think it in a right way > spending money on unnecessary stuff is easy and can be done by everyone whereas earning money and save it for investment or future used are something should be strongly encourage. Spending money is not hard at all, but how to earn, save and used it in a right way are more preferable for any individual.**

Like if you're jealous about why people are so talented can play so many instrument, why don't you try to learn it? Ok.. if you said that's expensive and not affordable, then try something cheap like guitar. There are dozens of tutorials teaching how to play. At the end of the story, jealousy has been successfully avoided! Jealous in a right way will create motivation and provide self improvement.


Last but not least, jealous will become a disease if we don't aware of it. It will also causes our life full of sadness and tear.. So, let it go.... Fight for the things that we want by our own! Jealousy is nothing more than a fear of abandonment.

La Mer

Thanks to my beloved mum that help me got a part time job at La Mer. Everything turned out much more better compare with last time i worked at DC Comics. Somehow i never regret of it cause it really help me gained experience in different fields.

Well, i heard about La Mer before but never know how it looks and whats product they have until i get this job. And i also believed that people that in my age seldom heard about it. So lets begin with some story...

Once upon a time, Dr. Max Huber has a big scar due to one of the experiment in lab. So this is when he started to research and develop Miracle Broth. It is a ingredient design to heal scar and this is wad make La Mer so legendary. 

However, for people like my age hardly to afford the price unless you're really rich. ☺

But i have to said it loud which their product is really AMAZING!! the effect is very obvious... I am not saying that to promote but it it my true experience.

My left hand have to show the way of using La Creme (Moisturizer creme)  and my right hand doesn't apply. After work and shower, i got into my bed, both of my hand's skin is so different!! Like... one is smooth one one is not so smooth.. haha... So this is a fact! not to promote!

Taiping Part II

The second day, wake up early in the morning and get prepared to the cemetery. Pity my mum, Sun's mum and sun, they actually wake up at 5 or 6 am to the market to grab chicken pork all those. But good for them they got to eat many many stuff.

Actually i don't really want to post the pic while we are at the cemetery because i think is not really good.. but i guess all this pic will be very precious after few years because most of the people feel that burning all the stuff and preparing, praying all this stuff is so meaningless since you cant ensure that our ancestor can actually received everything.  

Is very tiring and hot in fact... but look at the pic.. everyone is contributing something and get everything done. I guess even ancestor can't received the thing but they will also be so so happy to saw the teamwork of everyone. Anyway is just gonna be once in a year, so stop complaining people!

But what i feel is through this festival, family can actually get to gather around and this is a tradition of Chinese. We actually make some joke that using ipad and shows the pic of the tribute so we can save resources and money. But that's just a JOKE! haha... 

Haha.... Look at how my uncle carrying the umbrella.. one for the head and one for the...?? =p

And look at my mum, wearing jacket under the hot sun with donno wad expression is that.... HAHA..

Finally, everything is over. After showering and take some rest, we went to lalu Matang for the famous food of Taiping. But got no idea where all these people came from, the whole food court was so crowded and every food stall have a very long queue.... 

So we end up with just eating the ice mountain * direct translate from Mandarin*.. This is what my mum use to eat after school with her first love perhaps? haha.. Anyway it taste good and is a must for us to eat every time we go back to Taiping. 

Went to visit Gin and Sun's grandma... 

Sis insist to do the titanic post.. lol!

A pic of me and my big uncle, i'm really surprise that he act so open to hug me from back and i actually hold his waist, wtf... Everyone including my mum was so scare of my big uncle because he look very serious and what not.. but i do respect him very much for sacrifice for the family and take care of my grandma all the time. 

After jamming on the high way from 3 or 4 something to 12? kinda forgot wads the exact time... lol... but is really jam throughout the high way because everyone is rushing back. Pity the driver~ 

Anyway, when i reached home, i can finally meet my TERRY!! Miss him so so so super much!!!!!! 

Taiping Part I

Me and family were off to Taiping for the Ching Ming Festival which is usually for Chinese going back to their hometown and pray their ancestor once in a year.

Driving back from KL to Taiping roughly need around 4 hours if there is a very smooth traffic. In between that, we actually stop by Ipoh ans some rest station to find out something new and also to have more fun instead of just going back for praying.

Being at the city and working all the time is really stress sometimes. It is a very strange philosophy that everyone actually feel stress free when getting far away from the city. Life at village is really simple and not glamorous at all. However, being simplicity is not simple at all! said Steve Jobs

We stop at the Tapah rest station and grab about 23 pomelo!! We are not crazy and what not. But this season it really taste super super good! I'm not pomelo lover but i swear to God this is the best i ever tried.

Tata.. here is the prove!

The uncle there is so kind and cut 2 pomelo for us to try on the spot. He also offer us a very good price so roughly we get one around 10 bucks. Actually the skin of this season's pomelo is so so ugly but it really taste very good. So, Don't judge the book by it's cover! 

After the refreshing from pomelo, we off to Ipoh to find a very famous chicken rice shop. Credits to Mr.Garmin to lead us right in front of the shop.

To be really honest, the chicken is really sucks till the max because is it so hard to bite and swallow. Have no idea why it is so famous but of course you can give it a try to satisfy your curiosity. What really good is their chicken feet because is really soft. *somehow i don't really like eating the chic feet but the comment is wad i get from my family* 

The price for a whole chicken cost RM46 and RM 8 for the bean sprouts. No matter you're rich or not, the price for the chicken is really expensive and it taste so sucks. So is really not worth at all! 

Aim for this pic is the way they serve you. They actually just put a basket which divided into 9 parts like the tic tac toe and you just take whatever you like and the guy will automatically count the total price for you.

Nothing really special about the water but the barley do stand out because they actually put corn inside to make it taste better. 

You can walk around the town, and we found a very old style ice cream at the opposite of the Lou Wong chicken rice shop.  

The uncle actually pick up the favor of ice cream in a long cylinder ice cream, then cut it with knife and put in a stick for us to hold. According to my mum this actually appear when she was a child. I bet many of you from the city never seen this before!! =p Despite that, it taste good because it wont be too sweet and the texture creamy. RM 1.50 for each. 

Something special we saw at the shop which sell all those biscuit and stuff. They hang a bunch of small basket which have money inside and list it there NOT FOR SALE. Have no idea what it is for but i guess is something for attract more customer?

Across the road from the chic shop, you can saw the salt-baked chicken and duck shop. One of my mum's friend told her that this is actually very famous too in Ipoh. We bought one and tried, i think it taste good. At least a lot more better than the chicken rice!


So continue driving around 45 mins, we finally arrived our destination! We stopped  by at Matang to look after the old house. We were surprisingly and sadly to find out that the house that my mum and grandma and others family used to live in now has become the house for the foreign workers.


The moment i saw all the workers, i really kind of scare because they looks so...... scary?? *wtf* But then the next second i think off when i was still a child we use to play all kind of fireworks and stuff... i mean it use to be very alive but now it looks so death.. =(

There is a river opposite my grandma house which most them used to catch fish and sell it to the market. Some of my uncle have experience with that. So they went there for..... yearning?? hahaa..

Middle of the Road! 

Drive around few m from my grandma house, there is a house that sell crab and other seafood. The things they get will then sell it to the restaurant or other places. So if we straight go there buy, we can be the first hand and get to choose the best one. Unfortunately, it is a peak season so everything is out of stock.

 So is around dinner time, we went for few famous restaurant at Taiping. Unfortunately AGAIN, most of them are FULL due to there are a lots of people went back for Ching Ming also. But i can introduce which one you can try =)


Most of the top restaurant actually gather at 十八丁. They actually located in the same town and you can check it in by walking distance. The picture below is one of the restaurant which we tend to go but is FULL!
That is really so sad for us because one of the most important things to do at Taiping is to eat all their seafood because is really really cheap and fresh!

Yup! and the SEA! u can definitely have a very good sea view in this restaurant.  

This is another restaurant which we had our dinner. Uncle and my mum actually go for other better restaurant but all fully booked. So no choice, is always better than none right?

So this is wad we got in the dinner. Actually there is something else, but camera is died so.. left this. =)

""Well, if you got to see the expression of everyone.. they aren't really happy because the adult were so tired running here to there for a better restaurant and the else are waiting for the final decision. I have to admit that the environment of this restaurant is not really good because it is so near the kitchen so you feel very oily and hot. 

But i guess what is the most important thing for a dinner is not we got to eat expensive dishes or go to a very high class place. Is the mood that we have. I kind a don't like everyone act like that because we should appreciate that at least we still got to eat some seafood. There are so so many of people lining up and give up, end up with eating those mee or pasar malam things. So... if there is next time, Smile people! Be grateful of what you have... =)""

As for the night time, special thanks to big uncle for booking us a VIP SPA. Do not aspect that it gonna looks very luxurious of the typical spa. But is good enough that you can actually find something like this in the village.

The charges for the place we booked is 30 bucks per hour without any limit of people. There are actually public pool also but since we got so many people this is a wise choice. Get to enjoy more privacy. =D

Family time~ 

Anyway i think the price is pretty reasonable especially for a group of family or friends. What i know is the spring water is actually natural from under ground. It helps you to relax all part of your body and get smoother skin!

Look at the mist! lol.. is evaporation of the spring water. 

But do not immerse your head into the water! *General knowledge* and don't have to be so impatient, take step by step from your feet then when you can accept the temperature and you move further down. When whole body of me got into the water is really really hot, but just stand for 3 second, and you will feel very very relax~~
