Beamish, The living Museum

Hello folks!

On the 17th September, a week after i arrived, the university organised a trip to Beamish and its FOC. So of course we went.
Probably because its located at slightly outskirt from the city, so it was colder than usual, but we're still brave enough to challenge ourself to sit in the top of double decker tram.
The moment we arrived there we have no idea this is gonna be such a huge museum. This is not the typical museum where they display all the monuments in a building. They're displaying the entire city , life and people back in those ancient times.

We first visit the Town. You're allowed to enter into those shops or houses. The first building we went into is a law firm and then follow by other house which i don't remember what it was. But i absolutely like the vintage feels, decorations and all.

 The Garden.
Old pub/lounge? They're selling some drinks. So if you can order one and try to imagine how people spend their time back then in such great atmosphere.
The fire place is real and its working!
This is some publisher firm i believe. The guy told us how much work they have to do in order to publish a single page of article or news. You literally have to put in all those letter one by one into the metal thingy.
Old grocery shops?
Apparently back then people will forms some secret society. Its kind a like a community (Bersih) kind of thing. So here's the place. Only high end, educated people are able to join and of course female are not allowed.
The old school hi-tea place. I would rather have this than TWG!
 The school!!
This is how i remember the date in the beginning of the post.
We travel from place to place by tram. They've all sort of different tram. You only have to pay for the entrance fees once and all the transport is free. There's cafe and restaurant like the Davy's fish & chips, but of course you have to pay for your own meal.

Bank
Then we off to farms.
Highlight of the trip! First, The DOGGIES!
Second, Fish & Chips! This is not our first fish & chips in the UK but this taste so nice. Look at the queue!! The boys told us they're actually using charcoal thats why it took so long. But it totally worth it.
Highly recommended!
While waiting for our meal.
Third, those kids are way too adorable.
The picture below is a house of doctors i believe. I've the pictures in the interior but it was blur cause its pretty dark inside. But here reminds me one of my favourite movie "Pride and Prejudice".
There are actually a lot more things to see than what i posted but because its too much I'm afraid y'all gonna get bored. These pictures is what i chose from 200 plus pictures.

Overall it was a great experience. A good chance to get along with friends and to see and explore more about the city. For some people who don't like things like that you might get bored but i'm definitely enjoying it. All the time i preferred old school more than modern.

My friend said it was nice but he won't go visit anymore. Well, for me its a Yes but depends on who i'm going with as well. Great accompany usually is the most essential part for any trip right.
Have a nice day everyone! =)
